Starter cords are used only as a "3rd hand" when starting to wrap a tree to hold TREE-Z® Wrap in place while you start wrapping lights around the hooks. Remove the starter cord once lights are on the tree. Neon colors to make it easy to spot in case you leave it on the tree or it is laying on the ground.
One 4ft starter cord can be used on trees up to 15 inches in diameter. Additional starter cords are available for purchase for larger diameter trees.
